They are the best!!! From the ordering to installation everything went very smoothly! The garage door looks great and we couldn’t be happier! The spring on our old garage door broke 2 weeks before our new one was scheduled to be installed, they came out and got it working and didn’t charge us anything! How do I test the reversing mechanism on my garage door opener?

The professional technicians at Overhead Door Company of Springfield™️ have a standard test for a garage door’s reversing mechanism. First, you should find even ground and place a 2″ x 4″ board where your door touches upon closing. If the door is working as it should, it will reverse within 2 seconds of hitting the wood after attempting to close. If the door doesn’t reverse, please contact us to have a qualified technician visit your home and diagnose the problem.

How often should I do this?

You should be repeating this process every 3 months.
